Just sharing my reflection in one of the verses from Old Testament which is a good reminder on overcoming sins in our daily struggles like selfishness, pride, impatience, small form of lying, so on…
If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.”
-Genesis 4:7 ESV
This verse is a warning on the nature of sin that its desire is for us and it will always find ways to get to us but with God’s grace we can overcome it. Jesus is our support system and nothing can enslave us if we choose to have faith in Him. Not only that Christ saved us from hell by dying for our sins but continually He saves us everyday by praying for us to God the Father that our faith will not falter in times of temptation. We just need to make our choice if will accept God’s grace to resist sins every time we are in the verge of committing them.
